Overview
The Treasure Hunt Talent Search will be running a state (Wisconsin) wide competition that will run the length of the 2009-2010 school year.
The top two winners from each school will advance to the next level, and so on and so on until an over all winner is named. The top two winners are chosen one by popular vote, the other is the judges choice.
There is NO CHARGE for a school to participate. There is an entrance fee per person for the audience between $10-$15 dependent on location.
20% OF ALL PROCEEDS WILL BE DONATED BACK TO SUPPORT MUSIC AND THEATER PROGRAMS
We ask each school to provide the location for the initial round.
We will arrange locations for all following rounds.
All rules and guide lines for events will be strictly adhered to.
THE TREASURE HUNT TALENT SEARCH SHOW FORMAT
An MC will open the show and explain it to the audience. He will also introduce of three judges (provided by THTS).
8 to 15 pre-registered contestants will compete with acts lasting a maximum of 4 minutes.
Following each act the judges will comment.
After every act has performed the MC will explain the voting procedure.
Voting is done via TXT message, a screen will display the results in real time. Voting can take place for one hour from this time.
A RiverWalk Records (one of our sponsors) recording artist will then take the stage for a short performance - 4 to 6 songs.
A DJ will play ( adhering to school standards) until it is time to announce the winner.
At that time the MC along with the school principal will take the stageand present the to top two winners with trophies.
The DJ will play until the scheduled end of the event.
